People: Shayna Gaedtke promoted at KPS3

KPS3 has promoted Shayna Gaedtke to director of human resources.

Her mission is to foster an environment of growth, support and accountability, ensuring team members feel valued and empowered to contribute to making KPS3 one of the best places to work in Northern Nevada.

She will lead people-first employment practices that reflect the agency’s “Human. On Purpose.” values. Gaedtke partners with agency managers on hiring, onboarding and offboarding, and oversees employee growth, satisfaction and benefits.

She serves as point person for the agency’s externship program. Gaedtke joined KPS3 in 2021, where she held roles as human resources specialist and human resources manager.

Prior to joining the agency, she earned her stripes in HR departments at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and John Ascuaga’s Nugget, where she juggled responsibilities such as applicant interviews, recruiting, onboarding and employee benefits.

Gaedtke holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in human resources from the University of Nevada, Reno.
