United Federal Credit Union has been recognized by two esteemed organizations for its contributions to the community and higher education.
On April 24, United was awarded the Whirlpool Community Commitment Award by United Way of Southwest Michigan. This award acknowledges United's dedication to community service and its contributions. The award was presented by Whirlpool, and Jodie Kitchell, regional vice president accepted the award on behalf of United.
The following day, United received a Corporate Partner Award from the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business in recognition of its financial contributions to the collegiate institution.
The award highlights United's support for higher education and its role in fostering academic excellence. The award was presented during UNR’s College of Business Honors and Awards ceremony and accepted by Brook Sweeting, senior relationship development manager, on behalf of United.
