AAF honorees
Phyllis Freyer, Steven Aramini and Laura Newman will be honored by the American Advertising Federation of Reno at a gala June 26.
Freyer, vice president of markeing and communications at Renown Health, will receive the Thomas C. Wilson Award. The award honors a member of the advertising community who has made a significant contribution to advertising and has been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.
Aramini, creative director of Bauserman Group, will honored as Ad Person of the Year. The award recognizes an individual who has have achieved singular excellence in the advertising field during the last year, while demonstrating strong community involvement.
Laura Newman, general sales manager of KOLO TV, will receive the Community Contribution of the Year Award for her work on the Heroin Awareness Campaign.
The Community Contribution of the Year Award recognizes a business or individual that has been active in furthering the industry’s responsibility in areas of social concern.
FOX-TV and MY 21, will be recognized, meanwhile for deelopment of the “TXT L8R” campaign.
