CarWil expands Elko operations
CarWil, LLC, a manufacturing and repairer of material handling equipment for the mining industry has expanded its operations at its facility on Idaho Street in Elko.
CarWil’s new machine shop includes three vertical mills, a large bore CNC lathe, a CNC lathe with live tooling and bar feeder, a large capacity horizontal boring mill, a water jet cutting table, and assorted machinery.
It also features a large band saw and large heat and treat burn-off oven.
In addition, the company has added several machinists to the operation.
The expansion allows CarWil to offer ore services to the mining industry in a single shop. It also gives CarWil one of the most advanced machine shops in the region, according to a news release.
CarWil has two locations in Elko and a professional office in Winnemucca.
