Class teaches basics of small-business finance
The Center for Unique Business Enterprises, a business incubator in downtown Reno, will offer “Money Smart for Small Businesses,” a course on the financial basics of running a small business.
The course, which was developed by the Small Business Administration and the FDIC, will run on the first Saturday of the month for five months beginning on Feb. 2.
Charles Schwab Bank is sponsoring the class in Reno.

“The thing that I like most about entrepreneurship is I can work toward something that I’m passionate about and be at the forefront of the change that I want to see happen,” said Priyanka Senthil, a senior at Davidson Academy in Reno and co-founder of startup company AUesome.
