David Veillette has been named executive vice president of specialty hospitals by Renown Health. His responsibilities will include Renown Institute for Cancer and Renown Children’s Hospital.
Veillette previously worked as president and chief executive officer of Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Western Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. He has worked in the healthcare industry since 1969.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and master’s degree in business administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
“The thing that I like most about entrepreneurship is I can work toward something that I’m passionate about and be at the forefront of the change that I want to see happen,” said Priyanka Senthil, a senior at Davidson Academy in Reno and co-founder of startup company AUesome.
