Don Rogers, Keven Todd
Don Rogers has been named publisher of The Record-Courier in Gardnerville and Keven Todd has been named publisher of the Lahontan Valley News and Fallon Eagle-Standard.
Both newspapers are part of the Sierra Nevada Media Group owned by Reno-based Swift Communications.
Rogers previously was managing editor of the Vail Daily in Colorado.
His experience also includes work at the North County Times in Escondido, Calif.; the Citizen in Auburn, N.Y.; and the Daily Gazette in Sterling, Ill.
Todd most recently worked as sales manager at the Myrtle Beach Sun News in South Carolina. He’s worked in sales management at the Dallas Morning News and Louisville (Ky.) Courier-Journal, as well as at trade publications.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas Christian University.
On April 1, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak formally issued a “Stay at Home” directive for Nevadans and extended closures of nonessential businesses, gambling and school closures to April 30.
