Energy Nevada wins city job
Energy Nevada LLC of Carson City last week won a $1.9 million contract to replace the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems of Reno City Hall.
The city expects to save $200,000 a year in energy costs with the new systems.
Before construction starts, the city will hire a consultant to evaluate the future energy savings.
“As I’ve said repeatedly, the virus — and our personal actions to help mitigate its spread — drives the timeline,” Sisolak said in a Monday statement.
