Fayth Ross has been named outreach administrator for the Desert Research Institute’s GreenPower Program, which promotes use of renewable energy in Nevada schools.

Ross, who has taught at both the K-12 and university level, previously worked three years at Altair Nanotechnologies in Reno.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in technical writing and a master’s degree in theory and practice of writing from Utah State University.

“The thing that I like most about entrepreneurship is I can work toward something that I’m passionate about and be at the forefront of the change that I want to see happen,” said Priyanka Senthil, a senior at Davidson Academy in Reno and co-founder of startup company AUesome.
