The Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors announced its contractor of the year and skill, integrity and responsibility award winners last week at its annual SIR awards banquet at the Peppermill Resort Casino Spa.
The contractors of the year winners were:

• VersaGrande, Inch of Reno. Projects for this general engineering contractor included providing disability access and wetland protection for the Stateline-to-Stateline bike path in South Lake Tahoe.
Western Nevada Supply was named supplier of the year, and Hartman Structural Engineering was named design professional of the year.

“Reno has gone viral — (sales) activity has been phenomenal. When we fully expose properties to the market, we are getting like 15 offers,” Ken Blomsterberg, senior managing director of investments with Marcus & Millichap, told the NNBW recently.
