Erick Jones has been named dean of the University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering. Jones is an internationally recognized researcher in industrial manufacturing and systems engineering. His career over the past 25 years has spanned industry, government, and academia. Jones begins his appointment on Sept. 1. He succeeds Manos Maragakis, who earlier this year announced his retirement as dean of the College of Engineering after 13 years.
