Peppermill schedules opening of facilities
The Peppermill will open its 19-story, 600-room Tuscany Tower on Dec. 15. The addition will bring the total number of hotel rooms at the Reno property to 1,635.
The 62,000-square-foot Tuscany Ballroom, meanwhile, is scheduled for opening Nov. 30.
It’s the largest free-span ballroom in northern Nevada and will bring the total meeting space at the Peppermill to 102,000 square feet. It can host 3,500 for a sit-down dinner or 5,500 for a concert. The facility can be broken down into 18 smaller meeting rooms.
Also scheduled for opening in coming weeks are the restaurants Biscotti’s and Biscotti’s Cafe. They’re set to begin operation on Nov. 22.
Scheduled for completion next year are a spa and salon, health club, nightclub, steakhouse and three swimming pools as the Peppermill continues a $400 million expansion project.
