Peter Gillon, former development manager for the City of Cincinnati, has been named administrator of the Reno Downtown Redevelopment Agency.
Gillon will oversee the agency’s annual budget of approximately $5.8 million and its work to attract new businesses and develop housing and recreation in Reno’s 542-acre central city district.
While Development Manager for Cincinnati, Gillon managed tax incentive programs and redevelopment programs that involved land acquisition, subdivisions, retention and attraction efforts as well as international programs.
He also helped created 10 tax incentive districts in Cincinnati, and worked with a citizen advisory group to fashion development projects in neighborhood business districts.
When corporations relocate to Reno and need to find luxury temporary housing for C-suite executives and project managers who are in the area to lead change management and enterprise relocation, PKL Homes can cater to their needs. #ad
