Rob Humphreys has been named market president for U.S. Bank in northern Nevada.
Humphreys, who has been with U.S. Bank for nearly eight years, was previously a regional president for its community banking division. He has been in banking since 1986.
Originally from Sacramento, Calif., Humphreys earned a bachelor’s degree and an master’s in business from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
After the FTC lent approval on June 26, the $17.3 billion merger is still subject to various closing conditions, including a review from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission; that’s set for July 8.
