Sparks contractors sanctioned
Two northern Nevada contractors have been disciplined by the Nevada State Contractors Board.
Alchemy Installations Ent. of Sparks was fined $2,050 and ordered to pay investigative costs.
The board said the company omitted a material fact in its application for a license and failed to establish financial responsibility.
Ridge Restoration Inc. of Sparks, which does business as Beacon Construction, was fined $1,750 and assessed investigative costs.
The board said it misrepresented or omitted a material fact on its license application and worked on a manufactured home.
Under state law, disciplinary action by the state board may consist of a fine of up to $10,000 per offense, order corrective action, suspension, revocation or other action.
