State revokes two contractors’ licenses
The licenses of two northern Nevada contractors were revoked by the Nevada State Contractors Board.
Scott Meek & Son Concrete Co. of Reno had its license revoked for failure to pay for materials or services rendered and failure to establish financial responsibility. The contractor was fined $1,500 and assessed investigative costs.
Innovative Outdoor Living and Hardscapes, LLC of Sparks had its licenses revoked for abandonment of a construction project without a legal excuse, acting in a capacity beyond the scope of its license, and failure to establish financial responsibility. The company was fined $1,750, assessed investigative costs and ordered to pay $20,000 in restitution costs.
