The Chamber names award finalists
The Chamber has named businesses and nonprofits that are finalists in its annual recognition program.
Winners will be named at a banquet on May 15.
Community Spirit Award (large business): Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Barrick Gold of North America and Wells Fargo.
Community Spirit Award (small business): Brewer’s Cabinet, Golf Tec and Signature Landscaping.
Business of the Year: The Abbi Agency, CAMPO and Noble Studios.
Nonprofit of the Year: Children’s Cabinet, The Eddy House, and Sparks Alamo Club.
The Chamber Member of the Year will be named during the event.
The Chamber said last week it will recognize Phil and Jennifer Satre with is Raymond I. Smith Award.The couple will be recognized for their support of local causes, their commitment to creation of scholarships and their donations to the University of Nevada, Reno.
The Recognition Banquet, which is sponsored by First Independent Bank, begins at 11 a.m. at the Peppermill Casino, Resort & Spa.
