Hal Lenox, president of AT&T Nevada, will kick off The Quarterly Forum series sponsored by the northern Nevada campus of The University of Phoenix.
Lenox will discuss technology in his presentation from 6-7 p.m. March 19. The Quarterly Forum is at the University of Phoenix campus, 10345 Professional Circle in Reno. It’s free and open to the public.
Other speakers scheduled this year include:
* Chuck Alvey, president and chief executive officer of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, discussing the region’s business environment on June 18.
* Katy Simon, Washoe County manager, speaking on leadership on Sept. 17.
* Michelle Nichols of the Hug Your Kids Today Foundation, speaking on priorities on Nov. 12.
In partnership with Tesla and EDAWN, the university is preparing to launch the K-12 Robotics Center inside the new Southside Studio by early 2021.
