Winzer readies for cross-town move into larger building
Winzer Corporation’s move from Sparks into a larger distribution center on Longley Lane in May will allow the company to better support its network of West Coast franchisees and expand regional operations, says Blake Lewis, a spokesperson for Winzer.
The new 60,000-square-foot Reno facility provides significantly more space than currently is available at Winzer’s Sparks facilities, which had been completely built out. The expanded footprint also places the company’s A-1 Chemical & Supply Company operations adjacent to Winzer’s distribution facilities, Lewis says.
Winzer’s West Coast franchisees sell maintenance and repair items to the industrial, fleet and automotive marketplaces.
Winzer is headquartered at Plano, Texas, and has seven other facilities throughout the Lone Star state as well as in Saginaw, Mich., Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Las Cruces, N.M., Las Vegas and Munich, Germany. Winzer provides access to more than a million fasteners, tools and other supplies through a network of independent franchise owners.
