Carson planners OK permit for gas station to expand into Adele's property

The move to allow demolition of the building was an administrative decision already made in October after Adele's owners Karen and Charlie Abowd could not feasibly restore it. The 155 year-old restaurant will be made available at no cost to anyone interested in moving it to another location.
