Northern Nevada Medical Center (the main branch of which is seen here on Prater Way) will break ground on its new hospital in South Reno on Oct. 18.
According to previous reports, Sierra Medical Center is planned to open within three years of groundbreaking and is expected to alleviate some healthcare access concerns amid Northern Nevada's continuing population growth.
