The last large-scale, in-person event EDAWN held was its annual “State of the Economy” luncheon on Jan. 23, 2020.
During the annual event, CEO Mike Kazmeriski said the organization sees a future with "more technology and more high-paying jobs. We're really focused on the Bay Area. We see the Bay area as a real opportunity." Meanwhile, it was also reported that overall, eight out of every 10 jobs created in Reno-Sparks are jobs that can't afford a median price home.
