Local architect Darrin Berger, a consultant for Carson City School District's capital projects, is assisting district officials with its plans for 1600 Snyder Ave., assessing how best to convert the five-building facility into an elementary or middle school if the district's board of trustees votes to purchase the property. Berger has worked on multiple school district projects in the past.
