Angry motorist shoots at car, turns gun on self

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Utah man angered after not being able to change lanes on the Strip shot at another car before turning the gun on himself, police said.

The man was identified as 26-year-old Michael Ryan Davis.

Police said Davis apparently became angry Wednesday when another vehicle blocked him off as he was trying to change lanes. Davis pulled out a handgun and fired a round at the obstructing vehicle, hitting the front fender.

The other driver pulled into a convenience store and called police.

Davis sped off as police tried to get him to pull over. Davis became stuck in traffic at a traffic light and then shot himself in the head before officers could approach his car, police said.
