Harveys donates to Gaming Institute

Harveys Casino Resorts recently announced the donation of more than $60,000 worth of gaming memorabilia to UNLV International Gaming Institute at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The gaming memorabilia was originally collected by Harvey Gross, the founder of Harvey's Resort and Casino in Lake Tahoe.

The collection includes historic gaming equipment such as a faro table and antique slots, Harvey's memorabilia of all types and numerous historically significant documents on the origins of casino entertainment in Nevada.
