Letter: Give unbiased report on racing events

Upon reading Rhonda Costa-Lander's biased review of the Maverick Division main race at Silver State Speedway on Sept. 23, she seems to be missing some facts. Randy Bower (#25) hit me first, causing my car to be loose subsquently ending in the spin out when he tried to pass me. In retaliation Don Hill (#81) then intentionally hit my car in the left rear quarter panel, just missing the drivers door, causing my tire to go flat. I was slowing

down to go into the pits when I noticed Randy Bower pull up right behind me in an intimidation move. By then I had enough and in the heat of the moment I brake checked him.

Unfortunately, poor sportsmanship and politics do play a major part in racing every Saturday night. Rhonda Costa-Landers should be reporting all the facts in an unbiased review regardless of drivers she likes or dislikes.

I sincerely do enjoy racing at Silver State Speedway and I'm looking forward to the next season.
