Powers honored by Nugget

Beth Powers, assistant banquet manager, is the November Employee of the Month at the Carson City Nugget.

Powers came to the Nugget 11 years ago when she moved to Carson City from Simi Valley, Calif.

She has always worked in the banquet department there and was recently promoted to the assistant manager position.
