A ranch-style, working stock-horse competition will be held this weekend at the Fish Springs Arena in Gardnerville.
The competition begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and will feature about 15 entries. A bred-heifer sale will begin after the competition.
Silent bids for the heifers will be taken until Sunday afternoon.
