The Sunset Rotary Club of Carson City announced its officers and directors for the 2000-2001 club year. They are: Dan O'Brien, president; Debbie Young, president-elect; Gail Crandall, treasurer; Kim Macaluso, secretary; Ken Hollman, director; Mike Hautekeet, director; Richard Schulze, director; Julie Slabaugh, director; Freeman Johnson, director; Heinz Doring, Sergeant-At-Arms; and Pam Anderson, immediate past president.
The club consists of 41 men and women from the Carson City business community. Last year the club donated $900 in books to the Carson Middle School library, and $3,500 to Western Nevada Community College for vocational scholarships and filled backpacks with school supplies for children at Nevada Hispanic Services.
The club meets each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Station Grill. For information, call 883-7077.
