Business shows it cares for customers

I would like to tell the good people of Carson City about a wonderful couple and their establishment.

My husband and I were shopping one day, and we happened to go into Happiness Is on Hot Springs Road. This store has some collectibles as well as antiques. Jeff and Jan are the proprietors, and they make you feel very welcome and important to them. A lot of stores are so commercial and uncaring toward people and what they want. Not here. These two wonderful people make you feel as if you were the only customers they have even though each time I am in there, they have more than one customer at a time.

You are greeted warmly and told that around the corner to the left is free coffee, tea and cookies. They do not follow you around or pressure you to buy something. They carry a lot of beautiful antiques and several rooms full of collectibles. These range from special knickknacks to one-of-a-kind items. They even carry antique furniture. Their prices are very reasonable and they will wrap them for you. If you do not see what you are looking for, chances are they will be able to get it for you. They even carry hand-made items and books.

This store should be visited by one and all. I was there again today and found out they are going to be open seven days a week until Christmas. I hope all the great people in Carson City will drop by to say hi and see for themselves what a unique business this is. I am sure they will not be disappointed.
