Cattle Women holding dinner dance

The Western Nevada Cattle Women's annual dinner dance and auction will be at 6 p.m. March 25 at the CVIC Hall in downtown Minden.

A no-host bar will open at 6 p.m., the dinner and auction are at 6:30. Live music will be provided by Knight Hawk.

Tickets are $12.50 per person purchased in advance or at the door. For the first time, the group will award a plaque of recognition to the "Best Beef Business" for its outstanding support for the beef industry in the local area. Proceeds from the event and other association fundraising events go toward scholarships for high school students hoping to pursue a degree in agriculture.
