Sounds of laughter filled the Brewery Arts Center last weekend as BAC Stage Kids presented the hilarious musical production of "HOW TO EAT LIKE A CHILD... And other lessons in Not Being an Adult."
The laughter came not only from the children in the audience, but also from the adults as each "lesson" brought back fun-filled memories of childhood. Residents still have a chance to catch the show today and Sunday, May 20-21 at 1 and 4 p.m.
"HOW TO EAT LIKE A CHILD" is a celebration of children and childhood and, for adults, it is about remembering how to be a child. "HOW TO EAT LIKE A CHILD' gives lessons on the importance of living in the moment, being spontaneous and, above all, having fun.
More than 35 young singers and actors from Carson City, Gardnerville/Minden, Lake Tahoe, Dayton and Reno teach important lessons like "How to Beg for a Dog," "How to Stay Home From School," and "How to Torture Your Sister." These lessons are all told through a collection of songs and sketches.
Tickets are $5 for the general public and children 5 and under are free. BAC Stage Kids productions are open to children ages 4 and up and there is no fee to participate. Call the Brewery Arts Center at 883-1976 for reservations.
