Colorado named Nugget employee of the month

Novy Colorado, a slot mechanic at the Carson Nugget, has been named the Nugget's employee of the month.

Colorado, who came to the United States from the Phillipine Islands in 1994, started in housekeeping in January 1995. he then worked as a change person and is now a slot mechanic on the Nugget's swing shift.

His wife Tippi and daughter Danielle Jay, 5, are presently living in the Phillipines but Colorado said he hopes to have them soon join him here.
