What a hack job! Have you seen the concrete deck around the pool at the new enclosed city aquatic facility? I am appalled at the poor quality of workmanship.
Where was the inspector when this work was passed off? On vacation? How did it ever get approved?
Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself. You will find caulk failing at control joints, significant stress cracking, joints held together with duct tape, crumbling concrete at pool side, uneven surface heater vents covered with duct tape to prevent cuts, slippery deck surfaces waiting for falls; and you'll even see one side of the pool deck higher than the other!
None of us would accept this poor work in our own homes. Why was it accepted here?
