It has a new name, Washoe Whole Health Fair, but the former Washoe Diabetes Health Fair is still an important day for people with diabetes. In addition to news about diabetes, lectures and demonstrations by experts in diabetes, the fair also includes comprehensive health checks including blood pressure, body fat analysis, lung function tests and blood glucose screenings. The fair will be from 1-7 p.m. Nov. 10 in Washoe Medical Center's Mack Auditorium. For information, call 982-LIFE.
