Fire agreements on Storey agenda

Agreements for cooperative agreements between Storey County and area fire agencies will be discussed and possibly adopted at Tuesday's meeting of the Storey county commissioners.

Resolutions will be considered for agreements with the Sierra Forest Fire Protection District and the Nevada division of forestry, according to the agenda for the meeting, which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Storey County Courthouse district courtroom.

Other items on the agenda include:

-- The Grand Prix motorcycle race planned May 13-14.

-- A request to allow helicopter rides during the Grand Prix motorcycle race.

-- A proposal for "Old West" reenactments on Hugh Marshall's property and possibly at the V&T freight depot.

-- Truckee River Ranch property water rights.
