Free gun training class offered

The Nevada Firearms Training Academy is offering a free gun safety class to the public.

The class is open to all persons age 3 and older with use of any firearm. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. The class is 90 minutes in length.

The class offers information on how to safely handle and child-proof guns and ammunition. Classes are held the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month.
