Hi-Tech Automotive adds mechanics, equipment

Additional mechanics and equipment have been added to expand the service capabilities at Hi-Tech Automotive in Mound House.

Dennis Sowvlen, who own Hi-Tech with wife Patty, said he has hired two ASE-certified mechanics and installed diagnostic equipment for foreign and domestic cars and trucks.

"We can handle nearly everything now. We're doing engine and transmission overhauls, brakes and air conditioning, including conversions to the R-134a refrigerant," Sowvlen said.

The shop at 16 Jones Road has two service bays and 3,200 square feet of work space. Hi-Tech's telephone number is 246-9003. The shop is open weekdays.
