Western Nevada Community College Allied Health Department and new Health Horizons will welcome a Harvard-trained expert in hormone replacement therapy to Reno on May 13.
John R. Lee, M.D., a noted researcher and educator on hormones and related health issues, will lecture and answer questions from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at the Reno Hilton Crystal Ballroom.
Members of the medical community and general public are invited to learn new findings about hormones and their effects; balancing hormones naturally for positive health and hormone imbalance, prostate and breast cancer and osteoporosis.
Lee is the author of "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause" and other books about hormones and related health issues.
Continuing education credit has been approved for nurses, homeopathic physicians, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and is pending for credentialed Nevada teachers.
Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door and $10 more per ticket for those seeking continuing education credit.
