Humphries will lecture of Washoe Indians

Carson City and Nevada historian Noreen Humphries will present a lecture and slide show at the Leisure Hour Club monthly meeting April 19 at the Carson City Nugget.

Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m. Cost of the buffet is $12.50 and the public is welcome. Reservations must be confirmed by 6 p.m. Sunday April 16 by calling 882-1805.

Humphries' subject is the famed Washoe Indian basketmaker Dat-So-La-Lee, whom she has been researching for a number of years.
