IRS expands hours

RENO - The Reno Internal Revenue Services office, 675 W. Moana Lane, is expanding its hours for walk-in customer service.

Starting Jan. 18, the office will be open until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 8;30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. It will also be open until 7 p.m. on April 17, the date federal tax returns are due.

The IRS also provides "round the clock" customer service - 24 hours per day, seven days per week by phone or on the Internet.

Available products include federal tax forms and instructions, publications, information on tax law changes and other tax information for individuals and businesses.
