To State Transportation Board Member Jim Thornton, you stated in an article in the Nevada Appeal: "Everyone, I'm sure, wants the path." Are you just as insane as the politicians who gave everyone the right of way in walking across a street in traffic and betting their life that the car coming at you has good enough brakes to stop in time? My parents taught me better, and now you want bicycles alongside the freeway? We have enough to look out for without having bicycles, skateboards and walkers to keep track of also.
No way do we other paying citizens want a bike path by the freeway bypass around Carson City!
