I want to make mention of a delightful day we had here at the Carson Plaza where I reside. It was also volunteer week, and we were pleased to have Mayor Masayko and wife as guests for dinner and for the volunteer awards given to the good persons for their generous efforts of their time and assistance that benefit so many of our residents.
The presence of our mayor, who is a very personable young man, did much to make our day friendly and enjoyable and he could come more often to share this pleasure. I am sure our other residents join me in this observation.
