Letter: We care about service as well as cable price

This is in reply to Donald Cunningham's letter on the increased rates of our cable company.

I do care about the high price of our cable bill, but I'm also more frustrated with the unprofessional and arrogant attitude of the customer service we obtain with AT&T. When it was TCI Cable, I had a problem with our bill being a different amount each month. When I called to inquire about it, I got nowhere. I proceeded to talk to a manager instead of a representative and my reply was, "If you don't like the service, disconnect. " I took the manager's advice.

Unfortunately, one resident of Carson City will not make a difference. If enough people got fed up with the scam of our cable company, it might put a dent in their business. If enough people boycott this cable company for about six months, maybe they wouldn't treat us like the fools we are. They raise their rates and we just keep paying without batting an eyelash. Come on, Carson City, let's do something about this problem.
