Cole Smith of Sierra Realty Group was name the 2000-2001 president of the Northern Nevada Development authority in recent elections.
Other officers selected by the authority's 300 members are:
- Vice president Ed Shaw of Shaw Construction.
- Secretary Jeannie Hadlock of Hadlock Construction.
- Treasurer Brian Colodny of Kohn Colodny LLP.
- Past president Greg Nixon of Irwin Union Bank & Trust.
