Dale W. Webster, 79, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years and former Yerington resident, died April 15, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born May 27, 1920, in California, to Willard and Evelyn French Webster.
Mr. Webster retired from the Yerington Police Department after 12 years of service. He was also a former police officer in Barstow, Calif., for many years.
Among his survivors are his wife, Valeria of Carson City; son, Dale W. Jr., of , Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; stepson Steven Hurt of Yerington; daughter, Jackie Conklin of Vacaville, Calif.; stepdaughters, Jessica King, Sarah Wink and Kelly Allen, all of Carson City; brother, Jack Webster of Topaz Ranch Estates; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
