Evert Arthur Kraai, 94, a Carson City resident for the past 59 years, died Oct. 24, 1999, at Valley Meadows Care Center. He was born Oct. 16, 1905, in Holly, Colo., to Evert and Artie Mouw Kraai.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in California.
Mr. Kraai was a retired logging truck driver.
Among his survivors are his son, Victor, of Carson City; daughters, Kathleen Duncan, of Trinidad, Calif., Delinda Kinkel, of Fallon, and Duana Lompa, of Carson City; brother, Bert; grandchildren, Lynnda Dee English, Randall David Kerby, Michael D. Kinkel, Sam Lompa Jr. and Gregory Lompa; and four great-grandchildren.
A family gathering will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
