Obituary: James Gillem

James Richard Gillem Jr., 36, an Incline Village resident for the past 14 years, died Nov. 21, in Incline Village. He was born July 4, 1963.

Before moving to Incline Village, he lived in California.

Mr. Gillem was a carpenter in the construction industry.

Among his survivors are his mother, Lynn Burdick Carr, son, Jerry, daughter, Melissa, and stepfather, Don Stinemeyer, all of Incline Village; father, James Richard Sr. and stepmother, Hildy, both of California; grandmother, Louise Gillem; brothers, Scott and Jerry Stine, both of Kansas City, Bret Stine of Bentonville, Ark. and Mark Gillem of Berkeley; sisters, Deanna Lewis of Citrus Heights, Calif., Elizabeth Gillem of Los Angeles, Nikki Cooper of Bonner Springs, Kan. and Robin Stine of Miami; aunt, Nancy Kilpatrick and many other relatives.

A memorial service was held. Cremation was at Sierra Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made payable to the James "Rick" Gillem Trust for his children at Bank of America, Nevada, 900 Tahoe Blvd., Incline Village 89451 or mailed to Mark L. Gillem, Trust Administrator, 2283 Cedar St., Berkeley, CA 94709.

Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
