Obituary: Marie Burns Frank

Marie Burns Frank, a Carson City resident for 70 years, died March 23 at her home. She was 94.

She was born Sept. 6, 1905 to Joseph and Mrs. Burns in North Fork, Calif.

Mrs. Frank married John Frank, who died in 1983. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Sierra Mono Museum of North Fork, Calif., and belonged to the Mono Indian Tribe and the Eagle Clan of the same tribe. She enjoyed needle work, crocheting, puzzles and her favorite television programs.

Mrs. Frank is survived by sons Sidney F. Mason of Virginia, Dorlan Mason of Elko, Jim Frank and Joseph C. Frank, both of Carson City and Robert L. Frank of Colorado; one stepson; two stepdaughters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

No services will be held and memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Cremation will be through FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
