A memorial service for Maxine E. Carey, 69, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Carey died Jan. 18, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born April 28, 1930, in Wyoming to O.W. and Leora Miller Stover.
She graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.
Mrs. Carey was a homemaker. She liked to quilt.
Among her survivors are her husband Bernerd, of Carson City; sons Bernie, of Arizona, Timothy, of Arizona, and Patrick, of Carson City; daughters Cathaleen Olacsi, of California, and Bernetted Carey, of Reno; and three grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
